Bathing newborns is scary. They’re delicate, it’s slippery in there, you’re trying so hard not to get water in their eyes. But actually, you should. Getting your baby comfortable in the water makes it so much easier to teach them to swim. So while we aren’t suggesting a water fight with a newborn, it’s good practice to let a little water drip into their eyes and ears (so long as you carefully dry them out after).
