This one has been a go-to in our family not only because the batter is delicious (eat at your own risk), but it’s chewy, textured, gooey perfection. More effort than this one but beyond in deliciousness.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Cream together:
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Sift (helps, but not essential) together and mix into above:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Then fold in:
- 2 cups oatmeal (makes it chewy and kinda healthy…maybe?)
- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 1/2 – 2 cups chocolate chips
Instead of chocolate chips you could add raisins, cranberries, Skor bits, white chocolate chips.
Bake for 10 minutes or less depending on how wet you like them!
