Whether buttered, topped with meatballs or doused with milk, butter and powdered cheese, few foods are more universally loved by kids than noodles. If your kid is on a strict pasta diet, consider adding Chickpea pasta to the rotation. It comes in all the favorite shapes, is packed with protein, and most kids don’t even detect a difference.
15 minute healthy, kid-approved Broccoli Mac & Cheese recipe via @smooothie_operator:
- Boil water, add one box of chickpea pasta
- In the last 3 minutes of cooking pasta, add 2 cups broccoli
- Drain, mix with 2 cups plain Greek yogurt + 1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
