These are good and easy but we love these (that are a little more effort)
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream together:
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- M & Ms for decoration if you want to blow the kids away
Cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, salt, chocolate chips. Scoop a hooping tablespoon onto cookie sheet. Bake 8 – 10 minutes.
Freeze hack so you can have home-baked cookies every night: freeze individual cookie balls – best if you put on parchment paper, freeze fully then transfer to freezer bag. Pull out to bake. Recreate the chewy-ness by lifting and dropping the cookie sheet (on a surface) after they’re finished baking.
