Teaching Patience in Preparation for a Sibling

If you’re expecting a second baby, practice telling your first child to wait. They’re used to having you at their beck and call, so teaching them patience now will help when your attention is split. Once baby arrives, point out the times when the baby is waiting for you while your attention is on big bro or sis, so they realize it goes both ways.
